As an elected leader and a veteran, I swore an oath to defend the Constitution, and it’s an oath I take seriously. We live in complicated and sometimes dangerous times and that’s why we need leaders who will stand up and fight against the radical policies that put the safety of our community in jeopardy.  Many of the dangers we face in our nation are the result of destructive policies coming from radical politicians in Washington, DC, and Sacramento. These policies weaken criminal laws making our families unsafe, allow homeless people to live on the streets, encourage drug usage, and even attempt to sexualize, medicalize and indoctrinate our children. In some schools, children are reading or doing math 2-4 grades levels below where they should be and instead are taught woke issues that only serve to divide our country and confuse our children.

At times like this, we need leaders who have the courage and commitment to ALWAYS stand up for you and YOUR INTERESTS. We need leaders that speak the truth, that challenge and will fight all the woke, cancel culture, destructive, anti-American, radical, anti-police rhetoric and policies that are creating division and hurting our community. I’ve said this before many times and I believe it to absolutely true. Most politicians, on both sides of the aisle, are weak and cowardly. They’re often silent and complicit when faced with dealing with these issues, as is the incumbent. We clearly saw that during the Pandemic when I was often alone fighting against all the tyrannical and authoritarian policies coming out of Sacramento and Washington that hurt our businesses, destroyed livelihoods, and needlessly and destructively kept children out of school for two years.

We’ve all seen what can happen when politicians forget who they work for and ignore the issues and concerns most important to their constituents. I want to be clear, as your next County Supervisor, I will always stand up for you, and I will always fight for the issues most important to you and your family.

The fact is I’m independent and unafraid. I’m not and never will be a “Go Along, Get Along,” Good Old Boy Club politician trying to desperately hold onto my job as the incumbent is doing. I don’t fear the name calling and personal attacks when standing up for our values, the safety of our communities, and the greatness of our nation. With your support for County Supervisor, I will continue defending our rights and freedoms, I will always protect taxpayers, and I will proudly stand up for and with the brave men and women of law enforcement and the military. I will never stop fighting for honesty and transparency in government, and I will always ensure your rights and concerns are listened to and respected. I’ve proven this as a member of the Fresno City Council, and as your next County Supervisor, I will continue to fight for these important principles. And I will never back down. Ever.
